The Shawnee County Health Agency’s Immunization Department is focused on providing vaccinations for infants, children, and adults to help ensure their health and the overall health of our community. Travel immunizations as well as Tuberculosis (TB) skin tests are available. During certain times of the year, seasonal flu shots are also available.

TB Skin Test
TB skin tests are provided during regular operating hours, except for on Thursdays. Patients will need to return two days after receiving a TB skin test to have their results read.

Travel Immunizations
Travel immunizations should be obtained when someone is planning to travel out of the country to help protect them from disease that may be common in other countries. It is recommended travel immunizations are received at least six weeks prior to travel dates.

Our Immunization Department is a Yellow Fever Certified Provider. If receiving a Yellow Fever vaccination, it is important to note, Shawnee County Health Agency will supply a certificate of the vaccination. However, this certificate is not valid until at least 10 days after receiving the vaccination.

Yellow Fever vaccinations can only be given to individuals between the ages of 6 months to 60 years of age, through the Shawnee County Health Agency.
